Summary: Milo Bolt lives on the Quip - a magical train that travels through Story. The train is owned by Uncle Horatio, a book smuggler. When Horatio takes on a new job, he needs the help of Tilly Pages, who owes him a favour. But when a poisoned copy of The Wizard of Oz wreaks havoc, the children find themselves racing against time to find a cure. Their journey takes them to the Emerald City with Dorothy, rocketing on the unruly Quip, and eventually to Venice, in pursuit of the mysterious Alchemist. The very essence of imagination, Story itself, may be in danger.
