Candyfloss

Wilson, Jacqueline

Notes
Summary: Floss's parents split up when she was young, and now she spends her weeks with her mum, her mum's new husband and her new half-sister, and her weekends hanging out with her dad in his greasy spoon cafe. When Floss's mum and her new family move to Australia, Floss faces a difficult choice, but decides to stay at home with Dad. He's not much good at ironing school clothes, but they muddle along happily on a diet of chip butties and candyfloss. Then disaster strikes. Dad's money troubles catch up with him, and they have to move out of the cafe, making them homeless. Will their new fairground friends help out? Could Dad and Floss be destined for a life on the road.
